Oil prices are on the up again especially in New York “Demand in the Northeast, the biggest consumer of heating oil in the U.S., will increase 4 percent in the week ended Jan. 26, according to the forecaster Meteorlogix LLC. That’s pushing up prices after five straight weeks of declines, the longest losing streak since a six-week drop ended in December 1998.”
The cost per barrel of oil rose by over 4% on the New York Mercantile Exchange which is a numerical increase of over $1 each!
